METRO MANILA — Bench Fashion Week launched a special gala in partnership with the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines to celebrate 70 years of diplomatic friendship. The event was held at One Space Ayala and featured three of the country’s best designers: Joey Samson, Rhett Eala, and Jaggy Glarino. Emerging names like Karl Nadales and Steph Verano also participated. Each designer created collections that intertwined modern Filipino silhouettes with Japanese influences and explored themes such as movement, memory, and the in-between moments of life.
