Swiss Chalet: An Après-Ski Experience in the Heart of LA

Beginning November 14, Fairmont Century Plaza’s Swiss Chalet returns with a festive après-ski dining experience that brings the charm of the Alps to Los Angeles. Featuring cozy décor and a new prix-fixe menu priced at $115 per person, guests will enjoy Alpine favorites like Duck Confit and Wild Mushroom Risotto, along with seasonal beverages such as a warm glass of Glühwein. Additional enhancements to the menu include the Cheese Fondue, a blend of Emmental, Gruyere, and white wine, served with gherkins, pearl onions, carrots, mushrooms, baby potatoes, and baguette – perfect for sharing with family and friends. To end the meal on a sweet note, guests can enjoy a fun, interactive “Make Your Own Hot Chocolate” experience​​.

Thanksgiving Made Easy: Feast at Lumière or To-Go

On Thanksgiving Day, Fairmont Century Plaza offers two ways to enjoy a perfectly prepared holiday meal. Dine in at Lumière, where a 3-course fixed menu will be served from 5 PM to 10 PM, featuring traditional dishes such as Herb-Roasted Turkey Breast Roulade and a delectable Pumpkin Crème Caramel. Additionally, the regular à la carte menu will be available on Thanksgiving Day for guests to enjoy Lumière’s classics as well.

Camphor Steak Frites Pop-Up at Lumière: A Special Holiday Treat

For a limited time this holiday season, the acclaimed Camphor Steak Frites Pop-Up, known for its cult following, will make its debut at Lumière. Taking place over two weekends, December 57 and December 12-14 for both lunch and dinner, guests will have the opportunity to experience Camphor’s signature steak frites, now available on the West side of Los Angeles at Fairmont Century Plaza’s Lumière.

This $65 prix-fixe menu includes savory steak frites paired with a crisp salad and freshly baked bread and butter. Camphor’s signature dessert and craft cocktails can be added to complete the meal for an additional cost. This beloved monthly event, brought to Lumière for the holiday season, is expected to be a must-visit for steak frites lovers​.

Celebrate Christmas in Style at Lumière

Lumière will offer a festive Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Prix-Fixe Menu priced at $125 per person, featuring an elegant four-course feast. Start the evening with a complimentary glass of Moët & Chandon Champagne, followed by options like Lobster Thermidor or Slow-Braised Beef Cheek. Guests can enjoy the holiday magic in the chic setting of Lumière, while children’s menu options ensure a family-friendly affair.

On New Year’s Eve, Lumière will host a glamorous prix-fixe dinner for $125 per person, complete with live entertainment and a festive toast at midnight. Guests can celebrate in style by enjoying luxurious dishes such as Wagyu Beef and Black Truffle Tart, a welcome glass of Moët & Chandon Champagne and live entertainment to welcome 2025.
